College Football Playoff Teams 14.1

We here at SKOHRboard HQ believe strongly in the old adage "a rigorous schedule is next to godliness."  This is also a major variable in the formula that we'll use to determine our weekly "Top 4 and 5-25."  Yes, you read that right, we'll be doing a weekly Top 4 and 5-25 ranking which I've heard that if any members of the College Football Playoff Selection Committee are found reading, they'll automatically have to recuse themselves for voting for the entirety of that calendar year.  So yeah it's serious.

I'll take not only big game performance but also things like style points, general dominance, and lack of completely blowing it but just barely holding on for a win against middling competition.  To make the Top 4 a team has to assert it's belonging.  There will be no lucking in to this.  I'll prefer teams that challenge themselves throughout the season and come back having learned something or solved a previously non-disclosed vulnerability to teams that win all their games with mediocre performances against cupcakes.  That is not a shot at cupcakes though, they are delicious, I just don't think that teams worthy of the SKOHRboard Top 4 should be scheduling football games against them.

That is a long winded way to say that I'll be putting out a Top 4 and 5-25 ranking during the week each week throughout the College Football season.

Week 14.1
  1. Georgia
  2. Oregon
  3. Texas A&M
  4. Florida State
  5. Alabama
  6. Oklahoma
  7. Auburn
  8. Oklahoma State
  9. USC
  10. Michigan State
  11. Baylor
  12. LSU
  13. Wisconsin
  14. West Virginia
  15. Stanford
  16. Ole Miss
  17. Clemson
  18. Nebraska
  19. Kansas State
  20. Arizona State
  21. Ohio State
  22. Louisville
  23. South Carolina
  24. UCLA
  25. Notre Dame
So whaddya think?  How incorrect were you?
