Round 1 Pick 17: Cincinnati Bengals select Cordy Glenn, OG, Georgia
The Bengals love mammoth lineman and there aren't many bigger than this 6'5" 350lb versatile lineman from Georgia. He's played just about every spot on their line as a starter over the past couple of seasons and can challenge to start immediately at several positions for the Bengals. While he isn't the most athletic OL still available, he is the kind of guy that can step in and clear paths for a running back or help keep some pressure off 2nd year QB Andy Dalton. Cornerback is also a huge need for this team but I'm not sold on Gilmore and I think Marvin Lewis would be wise to steer clear of another headache in Janoris Jenkins. - SKOHR
Round 1 Pick 18: San Diego Chargers select Stephon Gilmore, CB, THE USC
San Diego has a lot of holes to fill this offseason. Vincent Jackson's departure will leave a void at WR that underachieving Robert Meachem will not fill. Their offensive line could use a solid Guard and their defense is PITIFUL on a good day. Considering they managed to produce the 3rd most points in the league last year, I am going to say they need to address their defense that was the WORST 3rd down defense in the league last year. Quentin Jammer's been getting burnt more often than Jeff Spicoli recently and his transition to safety is expected in the near future. In Gilmore they get an experienced player who was a standout QB in high school. His knowledge of the game is impressive, as is his knack for the big play. He is the ideal size for an NFL CB and has above average speed/strength. Coming off a stellar 2010 season, some critics will punish Gilmore for an inconsistent 2011, which could be attributed to having Stephen "Wild Thing" Garcia as your teams leader for the half the season. I think Gilmore can pull it all together and be a solid CB in the league for years to come. - Steve-O
Round 1 Pick 19 Chicago Bears select Fletcher Cox, DE, Mississippi State
Bears have been wanting a new d-end to pair up with Julius Peppers and are ecstatic to see Cox there when they picked. Although they did give some serious consideration to Kendall Wright, Mark Barron, and Dont'a Hightower, but felt there was lot of depth at their positions in this draft. Cox helps the most right away and the Bears as well as Lovie Smith are in win now mode. - Jim Mut
Round 1 Pick 20 Tennessee Titans select Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
I am sure to keep my "wild card" image alive with this pick... if asked which SEC CB held Julio Jones and AJ Green to a combined 8 catches for 61 yards 2 seasons ago, I'm sure most people say Kirkpatrick or Claiborne. Most people would be wrong, because the answer to that is Janoris Jenkins. The guy started 3 years at Florida before being dismissed for off the field issues (smoking pot, having kids (4 with 3 different "ladies") and getting into fights) and he was the first CB ever to start for the Gators as a true freshmen. If the draft was conducted on talent alone, Jenkins could very well be the first CB drafted, that's how good this guy is. Remember what happened when Randy Moss dropped to around this pick years ago? He got pissed and wanted to prove all the haters wrong, look for Janoris to do the same thing as Jenkins Island becomes the best thing to hit Nashville since Taylor Swift. - Steve-O
