College Basketball National Champhionship

Tonight is the culmination of March Madness.  While that is sad to think about all the money you lost because you foolishly picked Ohio State, Duke, or Kansas to win your pools, it's an historic match-up of leave it all on the floor underdogs that everyone can enjoy.  Yes, I meant to use underdog because both teams are represented by canines.

UConn is led by the quickest man in college basketball, Kemba Walker.  He has driven his team through every step of the Big East Tournament and now the NCAA Tournament whithout a loss yet.  Walker has had help from fellow scorer Jeremy Lamb,  inside muscle Charles Okwandu, and versatile big man Alex Oriakhi.  But nobody is kidding themselves here, this team goes where Kemba takes them.  Look for him to come up big whenever UConn needs some offense.
While Butler might have more of a "team" approach to offense they are led by stars returning from last year's NCAA Tournament's Cinderella squad, Matt Howard and Shelvin Mack.  Mack is probably the leader of the team but they rely on Howard's plucky aggressiveness and refusal to lose.  Howard always seems to be in the right place at the right time for this team and he'll have to have a real presence tonight if they have any hope of winning.

In my opinion the games comes down to a battle down low between Oriakhi and Howard.  I think Oriakhi has been under rated by everyone this season and has played a huge part in UConn's success.  He has been a monster on the boards and his ability to match up with other elite bigs has allowed Kemba to roam free around the perimeter and slash to the basket without fear throughout both tournaments.  The winner tonight is UConn.  I just think that Kemba Walker is playing the best basketball of anyone in the NCAA right now and he will not allow his team to lose.  His drive and UConn's superior rebounding will be the key to the game and they will prevail in a tight one.
