SKOHRboard's Top 3 Thoughts on the Week

SKOHRboard is loaded with brand new weekly features these days and here is the very latest. Each week I'll be discussing the Top 3 things currently happening. You can bet that these things will most often be football related but we'll leave room for something outside of that realm to really surprise us and take a spot in the vaunted weekly Top 3.

#1 The Hottest Seat. Brad Childress has sold his job's soul for this season and after last night it seems that he could be in real trouble. The are currently 1-3 and have the 2nd lowest scoring offense in the league with only 63 total points scored this season. To put that into perspective the Detroit Lions have scored 126. Childress better hope that Moss and Favre can work out the kinks and get that offense rolling sooner than later. Although 1-3 is by no means out of it in the WIDE open NFC right now they do have some stiff competition. If the Vikings miss out on the playoffs this year it could be the end of Chilly days in Minnesota.

#2 Down goes Goliath. Alabama lost to South Carolina this past weekend upsetting the order at the top of the soon to be announced BCS standings. Now only if we could get the college president's to take their greedy hands out of the BCS pockets we could manage a real playoff and see who the real #1 is on the field.

#3 Pitchers duel. This Saturday night get ready to watch the first ever double no-hitter. Halladay will face off against Lincecum in Philadelphia to open up Game 1 of the NLCS. Hopefully you are one of those people that enjoys watching a real defensive standoff because if these two guys are on it could be a very quick and very low scoring game.

Enjoy the week and let me know if you think something else should have made the Top 3.

SKOHRboard Top 25 10-10-10

This is the first in what will become a weekly feature here on SKOHRboard where I'll rank the Top 25 College Football teams according to my own personal opinions. Please let me know in the comments where you think I've over or under-rated teams.

There were some huge upsets yesterday in the Top 25 and those will be reflected in the standings. Most notably was Alabama's loss to South Carolina and the "Ol' Ball Coach." We'll see USC (no not Kiffin's USC) vault up the rankings while 'Bama will see their dreams of going #1 wire to wire disappear.
